Business Analyst (Oracle E-Business) (16227) – Wellesley

Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Business Analyst (Oracle E-Business) to join our team in Wellesley, MA.

Job Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst reports to the IT Team Lead responsible for the Oracle E-Business Application. The individual will have the primary responsibility to elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, and manage the business requirements for Oracle E-Business end user reports and system enhancements. The individual will then have responsibility to create and validate the functional specifications for the Oracle E-Business technical team with focus on the team members who are located in India. The individual will also work closely with the Financial, HR/Payroll IT, and Onshore Team Leads. The end users are Sales and Marketing, HR/Payroll, Grants, OIC, and other Oracle E-Business constituents. This individual will have minimal involvement with financial reporting.

Work with the Team Lead(s) to document scope.

• Document the content for the Business Requirements Documents specific to the report/SR.
  
• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, task and workflow analysis, and/or viewpoints.
  
• Write technical requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language, simply, clearly, unambiguously, and concisely.
  
• Decompose high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements and quality, specified in an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by those must base their work on the requirements.
  
• Lead requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, and that they conform to standards.
  
• Participate in requirements prioritization.
  
• Participate in peer reviews and inspections of requirements documents. Participate in peer reviews of documentation derived from requirements specifications to ensure that the requirements were interpreted correctly.
  
• Attend meetings with the customer and technical meetings.
  
• Manage requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout the life cycle.
  
• Assist with development of test plans
  
  Required Skills:
  
• 2 - 3 years of Business Analysis to include experience with: requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, verification, and management practices and the ability to apply them
  
• Oracle E-Business experience (but will consider similar ERP experience)
  
• 1 - 2 years of experience with a Sales and Marketing group for Healthcare or similar insurance/enrollment area; or experience with HR/Payroll, OIC, or other E-Business module.
  
  Desired Skills:
